All models in the Samsung UNC plasma series lineup feature a high-efficiency panel that works to reduce the systems energy consumption in order to better meet Energystar 4.0 guidelines. This reduced energy consumption leads to a more cost-effective, environmentally friendly entertainment system.

The Samsung UNC6500 HDTV features improved content available from its Internet@TV feature, including content from: Addeco Broadband, AccuWeather.com, Blockbuster, the Associated Press, YouTube, Amazon, Facebook, Twitter, USA Today, and more. This content is largely free, but can otherwise be purchased for a small fee or accessed by subscribers. This interactive content allows for expanded entertainment over television sets lacking any such capability.
